The Crow & The Pigeon

2025

On a December afternoon, while walking down the street, I saw a crow eating a pigeon's corpse. Haunted by the image, the crow and the pigeon along with their cultural and symbolical meanings were abstracted into a series of charcoal drawings. Two of the drawings ("The Crow", "The Pigeon") evolved into sock puppets and costumes, which later starred in the video art "The Crow That Ate a Pigeon".

The costumes were worn in a performance at the HaMidrasha pavilion at the 2025 Fresh Paint Art Fair, and were exhibited alongside the original drawings and the video.
