Jaywick Airings Residency

A one-week residency in the coastal village of Jaywick, Essex, UK, of a selected group of students from CSM MA Art & Science and BA Fine Art courses. I spent my time plein air drawing and gathering treasures washed up along the shores of Jaywick, including: sea potatoes, whelk eggs, shells, seaweed, and many pieces of organic-looking washed-up plastic. I photographed these objects and started dissecting them digitally, creating an animated video. At the end of the week, the Carvan space, which functioned as the living, sleeping, and studio space, turned into an exhibition space where I displayed my creations.
